Regularly scheduled activities and programs:

  • Bingo - every other Friday

  • Crochet Club - twice monthly

  • Craft Club - twice monthly

  • Themed Dance with live band - once a month

  • Buck of the Month Club

  • Birthday Celebration - once a month

  • Nutrition education - once a month - University Extension

  • Blood Pressure Check - once a month - Mississippi Co. Health

  • Flu shots - Annually - Mississippi Co. Health Dept.

  • Special Holiday Events - Valentines, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.

Daily Activities include:

  • Library - free books to take home

  • Jigsaw puzzles

  • Piano available for playing

  • Computer lab room

  • Free Wifi

    Fundraising Activities include:  Bake sales, yard sales, craft & gift bazaar, and plate dinners, etc.
       The Charleston Senior Center is listed as a cooling and warming center during hours of operation.
    The dining area is available for rental for dinners, showers, reunions and much more.
    We have a great appreciation for the volunteers that offer their time and services to work with us on the homebound meal program. New volunteers are always needed to help get these meals out to our seniors.
