Medicare questions?

If you are turning 65 and eligible for Medicare or you are already on Medicare and have questions, than you may want to attend a Medicare Boot Camp. The Information and Assistance staff at Aging Matters puts on the Medicare Boot Camps to provide helpful information about Medicare, Medicare supplements, Medicare health plans and Medicare Prescription Drug programs. With the annual changes in Medicare, this is a great opportunity to get answers to the many questions you may have.
Information is presented about when to sign up for Medicare, penalties for late enrollment, and what is covered by each Medicare part. You’ll also learn what the new preventative services provided by Medicare are, what the deductibles are for each part of Medicare and what a benefit period is. The enrollment period for Part D will be discussed plus ways to save money on these prescription drug programs.
Boot Camps are held though out the year at various locations. Check the events page for upcoming boot camps currently scheduled. If you are interested in attending, call Jackie at Aging Matters, at 1-800-392-8771 (toll free) to register for a boot camp near you. Walk-ins are welcome but it is best to register to ensure there will be plenty of handouts for everyone.
